What do you get up to in the week?
During the week I help organise and run the various youth and children’s ministries at St Luke’s, including Kids Teaching time, Shift at The Hub and SRE. I also study part time two days a week at Youthworks College. On my days off I’m usually working on one of my many half finished craft projects.
Family, kids, pets?
I have the great blessing of being married to the wonderful Jonathan.
Likes and dislikes about Hornsby Heights?
I like the beautiful bushland. I do not like the traffic on Galston road at peak hour.
Testimony
I was wonderfully blessed to grow up in a Christian family, my parents and sister knowing Jesus. As a kid I went to Sunday school and Kids club. I loved all the old testament stories, Joseph, Moses etc and I wasn’t bad at reciting the memory verses. I remember when I was about 12 I was challenged by my Sunday school teacher “You are not a Christian just because your parents are, you must make that decision for yourself” and sometime after that I became a Christian. I recall sitting on my bed with a gospel of Mark and writing the date that I gave my life to Jesus. I knew that He loved me and had died to save me from my sin. I wanted to follow Him with my whole life.
